A few weeks ago our area was hit with a crazy storm. The wind was absolutely crazy. We lost power for about 8 hours which we were extremely more fortunate then some of the others in the area. My sister lives 30 minutes away and was without power for a week! These pictures are actually from the wind knocking our tree down in our front yard. It missed our neighbor's car by 2 feet. So incredibly thankful for our safety and that we were blessed enough to not have permanent damage.

This touched my heart so much. It was the morning of his birthday party and he was so incredibly excited to help me make cupcakes when he woke up. When a friend of the family came to help saw the tree, Jackson was out the door in his jammers helping take the limbs to the street. He put his birthday prep aside to help out. Made this Momma's heart just melt.
