Too much to say Tuesday!

Jackson got his first busted lip this Sunday at Church nursery.

Even with a busted lip, he still is a cutie patutie!

Calling all interior decorators!

Okay friends, this Momma is need of some help. We are trying to choose a new "toddler bedding" for Jackson's room at the new house. Yes, we have a few weeks but we're searching. I have my top 2. I'm sure you'll definitely be able to tell which one Josh's favorite is.

Let this be noted, I love the the one with the trains, planes, and automobiles b/c Jackson is in SUCH a "choochoo" phase. However, that bedding is $70 and the sports bedding is $30. Big difference...esp when we have a billion weddings and vacations this summer. ALSO, we have so many pictures of sports players and autographs from family (including me) meeting pro players. That would be extremely cute hanging in his room. He could have pictures of his Mom with Adrian Peterson and Drew Brees, who wouldn't want that in their room?! haha!

Please let me know your thoughts/opinions! :)

Melt Your Heart Monday

Just thought I'd share a picture full of sweetness to melt your heart on this yucky, rainy Monday morning. Boy is he not the cutest?!

Finally!

Okay, after 5 months and 44 houses we have finally purchased a home! We are very excited needless to say. We are scheduled to close on the house Monday, June 14th. Just in time for us to go on our friend-family vacation the following Saturday. We will probably start moving once we get back the week of the 26th, *hint, hint* for those of you who want to help!-haha! We'll just need to put a gate up for Ally with the fenced back yard and paint the 2 bathrooms (this is a complete call out for help from Em right here, Josh get's thrown out of rooms when he paints with me) and possibly paint Jackson's room. Here's a pic of our new home that was on the listing page. Not the best quality ever.

In the backyard it literally has a gate to go to the elementary school in our backyard, it's in a cul-de-sac, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom,....We love it. Oh and it has a fireplace too. I've always wanted a fireplace! :) Perfect home for our little family.
The whole thing is bitter sweet though. We thought it would be a quick process finding a house and only staying with my parents for a few weeks-month. We have been here for 3 months and it has been great. We have been so blessed to be able to have a home after renting our house on Glenmore and being able to save some extra money while being there. We're very fortunate. Thanks Ma and Daddy! :)
I do think that all 3 of us are going to be in for a rude awakening when we leave in a month. Josh hasn't touched any dirty dishes the whole time, just me and Ma conquering those bad boys. And Jackson,...whoa buddy. He gets so excited in the morning hearing Popppop's boots coming down the stairs. He loves having Grandmommy there every day too! He tells her to watch him do whatever he's doing every 5 minutes...whatever it may be...pulling out pudding and scooby doo fruit snacks out from the pantry and trying to con her into letting him have some for breakfast. She's able to spoil him more and more. I am going to make Ma come to my house to watch our shows on Monday nights for sure. Dancing with the Stars and the Bachelor won't be the same without her beside me on the couch!

I feel like our time at Mom and Dad's has been so wonderful, I do hate to see it be done. However, I am looking forward to having a "home"!

Too much to say Tuesday!

Okay we all know I cannot just put a picture up here and say nothing. Jackson and I went to target this Saturday to look for a bridal shower gift. Last minute like usual, with the shower being early afternoon in Christiansburg. Anyhow, Jackson has been behaving really well lately so I told him he could pick out some "choochoo trains". He was beyond estatic. All weekend long we had to bring his 2 new trains with us, "Emily" and "Bill".

Saturday evening roled around and Josh and I were playing choochoos with Jackson. Before I knew it my face had become the tracks for his trains, and one thing led to another and this happened:

For the record "Bill" is the quickest yellow toy train I've ever seen. He was maybe "riding" my hairline for 4 seconds!

Jackson now knows that Mommy's head isn't used for a track and felt bad it "hurt Mommy". Bill however, learned not to mess with my hair and got his fair share by being in timeout for the rest of the evening! So sorry Bill!
