God has blessed us beyond measure with Jackson in our lives and we thank Him everyday for him! Today I thought I would do a little timeline of Mr's 1st year with us! :) Hope you enjoy!

First few days....

A week or so old,...right Em, when did you and Cam do these?? Oh P.S. I'm sure most of the pics were probably taken by my personal photographer,...Em Dowdy

1 Year Old!

Jackson's 1 year checkup is Friday so I will keep anyone who actually reads this posted. We have finally got a referral to see a dermatologist at the end of July for his eczema. He's been on table food and a sippy cup since 10mo however he likes trying new foods. He loves to go see AH! (ally our dog), bathtime, books, balls, bats to hit balls, wrestling with dada, trying to climb in the dishwasher (such a mischievous boy)...and much more! He jabbers a lot and had said words such as: daddy, mom, AH! (ally), ball, byebye, poppop, kyky (Kyleigh), uh-oh (our recent favorite), and hopefully more to come. This Saturday he took 4-5 steps,...however they were steps trying to kick,..you guessed it, a ball! :) Shocking I know! We're getting there. Our little one has blossomed tremendously and we're so excited to see what God has in store for him and us in the years to come. Thanks to everyone for being a part of his 1st year! :)

Jackson's 1st bday party

This past Saturday we had Jackson's 1st bday party. We had it at Ma and Daddy's b/c let's face it our house is teenie and we would have fit a whole wopping 5 people. They had the house and pool might I add looking wonderful!! We had a great time celebrating with our friends and family! Thanks so much everyone! :)

We did a monkey theme, that I finally convinced Josh into letting me do and this is the adorable cake Jane Wolford made! It was DELICIOUS!

Green was the color of the day! :)

Got so many nice presents!

Loved his cake,..

...maybe too much!!!
Got to have some pool time,...I didn't get any pics of Sam but he was FEARLESS in the pool.

Mr was so incredibly pooped by the end of the evening. He was about falling asleep on the 4 wheeler that Mal and Pal got him!! He was actually SO tired he decided to sleep in on Sunday. Since he's our alarm clock at 7/7:30 every morning we haven't been setting our alarm clock. Josh sat up and said to me "is that clock right?" I looked at it and it was 9:54 am. Wahoo! What a nice time to sleep in. We did make it to Church on time, however we didn't get to make daddy homemade doughnuts for Father's day. Sorry Josh, Happy 1st Father's Day. You're an amazing daddy! Jackson is one blessed little boy! <3

Jackson's 1st year timeline post to come,.... 1st bday tomorrow!!! :)

Last year in the twenties!

,...haha not me! It's Josh!! Sunday my hunnie turned 29! If anyone tells him that I told his age I'm totally hunting you down. Josh always "stretches the truth" when people ask him how old he is. He always says he's 2 years younger then his actual age. Why? I don't know. Here are my boys reading Daddy's bday cards,... not very suttle Jackson,...you picked that card out!! :)

Unfortunately my hubby needed more of a pick me up on his bday b/c that was the day of the State final! We lost the day before in the last 32 seconds of the game vs hidden valley. That's right people if you didn't read it correctly the first time,... 32 SECONDS and against hidden valley for goodness sake! Ugh frustrating!! :(

Anyway, we had a great day going to Josh's mom's for lunch and then to a movie. Then we met up with Josh's dad and ate at Abuelos. We are going to the homeplace tomorrow evening with my fam! YUMMY,... it's barbeque day! Can't wait! Here I am rambling about food,....this post was for me to talk about Josh,...being as it was his birthday.

Happy birthday to my hubby! I am so incredibly blessed to have such a wonderful man as my husband. He is such a strong Christian man and the best daddy Jackson could ever have. Thanks for being you babe, there's never a dull moment! I love you so much! <3
