My favorite part of the day!

Every evening Jackson has his usual "night-night routine". This is one of my most favorite times of the day. Most evenings after dinner and playing Jackson takes a bath. We bathe him daily: 1. b/c there's so much stinking pollen out right now and he loves to go outside, 2. he gets into everything, and most importantly 3. the doctor told us to for his eczema.

After bath time, Jackson gets dressed in his jammies. Then it's time for prayers. Daddy usually sits on the left of Jackson, however he decided to be Mr. Photographer this evening. Jackson is so sweet! Each night he'll let us know who he wants to pray. Some evenings he'll say "Jackson pray" then squints his little eyes and starts mumbling. We may not understand, but I know God does! My most special moments with him!

Next we "read" the book: "The little Engine that could". Why am I using quotation marks for "read" you ask? Well for you parents out there who haven't read this book, pick it up. It's a long book for an almost 2 yr old. Or should I say, it's a long book for a parent to read their child when it's like t-minus 2 minutes til bedtime. Each evening Josh and I will make up a story to the pictures. Haha! That's probably why Buddy enjoys it so much. He never really knows what story he's going to get each night with the book. This is also really special to me too b/c when we moved in with Ma and Daddy a few months ago we stumbled upon this book. It was mine and Crystal's when we were little.

As much as I get tired of the same book, I love the fact he has things that are special to him... and special to me as well! :)

Blackberry Reel

I swapped phones today and backed up all my phone's pictures to my laptop. Some random and silly. Enjoy!

My snack the day before I knew I was starting weightwatchers. Bubblecake cupcake and Starbucks latte. (P.S. not all those cupcakes are mine,...Ma and Cyndee's too)

Charley's 1st bday! She's already celebrating it like us soccer wives,...at a soccer game!

Jackson and Charley indulging Chris' famous cupcakes at the game!

Chuck E Cheese for Riley's 2nd bday!

Jackson's outfit on St. Patty's day. Forgot to put the poor child in green. However I did remember to take a picture of his cute outfit he was wearing for the first time.

Enjoying the lobsters at Red Lobster!

The best looking bday cake ever. From The Wolfords...made by Jane.

This is the picture I sent Josh while he was a school teasing him that I got the first taste.

My stud at my bday dinner. Yummy!

Smiles :)

The kiddos getting pumped for some PH/SHS soccer!

One extremely cute Rah-Rah!

Have I mentioned I have the best husband ever???

I don't give Josh enough credit sometimes. This weekend he planned a trip to Richmond for the two of us. We were going to take our yearly trip around my bday to Greensboro for Steak N Shake but we decided to change it up. It's always nice to get away during soccer season and he didn't have practice this Saturday so we left Jackson with Josh's mom and hit the road.

We ate at Tropical Smoothie Cafe for lunch, went to Kohl's, Babies-R-Us (they have toddler clothes!), Dave & Busters for games, saw the movie "date night", and went to the Melting Pot for dinner. Oh-my-goodness it was DELICIOUS! We got all nice and dressed up and RELAXED which was really nice. Didn't have to worry the whole meal when Jackson would hit his breaking point at the table and we'd have to take turns finishing our meals-haha! Definitely missed our little buddy but had a wonderful Saturday!

My favorite part of the day was when we were at Dave and Busters. For those who don't know this is an arcade/bar. We don't drink, however we heavilly enjoyed the games! They had a trivia game that 4 people could play at once. The 2 of us were playing by ourselves and the topic "music" came up. The question was: "What is Justin Timberlake's birthplace?". Well you get more points if you answer quicker so when Josh answered "a: memphis, TN" in record time I figured, hey he was just guessing and was just trying to beat me as far as time goes. When the correct answer was revealed I realized he had gotten it right and me wrong. He looked at me and said "duh, hunnie!" while laughing, then got really embarressed and said "I don't know how I knew that." HILARIOUS! We have an NSYNC fan on our hands people!

He always makes me laugh!

This is how we do it...

Okay so in our "friend family" I am the only mother of one, yet still feel like I have my hands full with just Jackson. Why you ask? These girls make it look like a piece of cake! Amy and Em are both mothers to two kids, which in fact are well behaved AND their both confident and comfortable going out in public, or at least seem to be :) . Okay, I admit, I get intimated taking Jackson to the grocery store by myself. Before we have our next (it will be a while, don't get excited this is no April Fools joke), I have got to borrow the Super Mom cape! Here is our second annual weeknight dinner. It took place at the KFC in Vinton, which i might add had a big enough table to supply for 3 Mommys and 5 kiddos!

This is the action shot I got with my phone:

Things that are extremely necessary to point out:

*Sam and Jackson BOTH standing in the booth after Em and I told them to sit either on their knees or their bottoms.

*Amy having to use the "mommy tone and pointy finger"

*Em in the back left waiting in line to order apple pies. We were hoping it would give us another 5 minutes to chat! We went to taco bell last week and our saving grace was the cinnamon twists.

So excited for our beach trip in June!
