ACC CHAMPS!

Most fall weekends we have are spent with travel ball and we never get to go to any Hokie games. This year, we got to go to one regular season game with Meg and Kenneth and also had the opportunity to go to our first ACC Championship game! :) Crystal won tickets at work and graciously gave them to Josh. What a great sister I have! We had a blast. Our friends, Ryan and Rach came too. We made a day of it, going to Charlotte, eating at Steak N Shake several times of course! Missed our little fella but had a great time! Thanks for the tickets Crys!
This was a car decked out in VT stuff, even had a TV in the trunk!

Despite a little rain, snow, and cold (and when I say cold, I mean 7 shirts of layers Josh squeezed me into-haha) we had a ball! GO HOKIES!

Only took 5 months...

...to finally get some pictures put up in our house.
The pictures are of 8 different pro NFL players (autographed). 4 out of 8 of them Mom or I have met and had our picture taken with and those pictures are in the lower corner. I asked Josh if this was really the room that Jackson wanted or if it was the room that Josh wanted. Hehe. Jackson loves it b/c Daddy loves it. He picks him up about every other day and they go through the players. C'mon Josh, he's 2 & 1/2....he doesn't have to know who Jerry Rice and Joe Montana are. Give him some time.

Gobble Gobble

Just in time for Christmas, I finally have Thanksgiving pictures!

Every year we take turns with the wish bone, this year it was mine & Josh's turn. Here's me getting my game face on, strategically figuring out where to hold.
Action Shot: For some reason we do it under the table...is that a tradition for our family or just something everyone does??

From the looks of the picture I'm sure you can tell who came out as the champion, surprise surprise! Can I ever beat this man at anything?!

Brace yourself for the next picture folks!

Jackson had eaten SO much food he needed to use the potty. He has been so proud of himself being a "Big boy and going to potty" that we had to move Ryan's highchair in the bathroom b/c he wanted Ryan to watch. There's a pic for Ryan's baby book! hahaha!

Cute little turkeys!

Couples Retreat

This November Josh and I got to head out to Gatlinburg for our first couples retreat. We had such a great weekend. We got to stay at a beautiful resort and had a lot of fun getting to fellowship with others couples! Some that we knew already and some new found friends!
Gregg and Jess organized the entire weekend and they are truly blessed with this gift. So much attention to detail. We had baskets on our beds when we got there that were filled with couples devotions, milano cookies, and of course The Jones' drink of choice: sparkling grape juice. We had 6 little sessions on Higher Love that really blew my mind. Had you thinking and praying for your spouse and relationship in a whole new way. We definitely didn't leave thinking the same way. As much as we missed our little man we had such a wonderful time having "Mommy and Daddy time" and getting away for the weekend! Thanks Gregg and Jess for planning such a special weekend!
Here's some pics for our weekend away!

Our whole group:

What's that we're holding?? Oh it's our official "amazing race" packets. Gregg and Jess had each couple running around downtown Gatlinburg for hours going from one clue to the other. It was SO much fun. We had about 9 clues that sent us every direction. People there actually thought we were with the real show, it was so funny. I know there was one point where I was so tired from Josh making me run everywhere (this is his competitive spirit in full force, shocking I know) I finally told him to go on and I'd catch up. He didn't leave me but more less dragged me along. Who knew you had to be in shape to go on a couples retreat? haha Don't worry hunnie, next time I'll be in shape and we won't get 2nd place like this year :) This soccer wife will not let you down!

Jackson & Ryan

Hello Blogger buddies! No I have not fallen off the face of the earth! This just goes to show how extremely behind I am on my blogging. These pictures of Jackson and Ryan are from mid-October. Nice Kelly...nice!

This one's my favorite...gotta love candid shots.

We actually had the opportunity to keep sweet baby Ryan this past Friday over night for the first time. Boy if I had babies that were as calm as her, I told Meghann and Zack I'd have 5 of em! Ryan is such a relaxed, go with the flow gal. Love her to pieces! I cannot even believe she'll be 1 in a month!

Turkey Time

This past Thursday I joined Jackson for his first school Thanksgiving meal. It was so much fun. He was super excited. Mal, Grandmommy, and Poppop joined us as well. It was so nicely put on by the staff at his daycare and the staff of the Church. They had a slide show up on two screens of pics of all the kids too. It was so cute! We ended up sitting with one of his buddy's Mason and his parents. After chatting for a little while, Ma noticed that Jackson and Mason are like 4th cousins. Josh's response to that was, "I guess down the line we're all cousins eventually" haha, I thought it was ironic. Here's some pics from our fun lunch together!

Our table centerpiece.

Jackson's place mat for the meal that we took home. He made it. I'm sure with a little help! ;)

Hope everyone has a nice and safe Thanksgiving!

Who doesn't love a good deal?!

Want a good deal on some Christmas cards?? Click here:

Thanks to my blogger buddies, I'll be getting 50 Christmas cards for FREE! We are all "users" of Shutterfly and boy do we love it. I've used Shutterfly for so much stuff! I started ordering about 2 1/2 years ago when Jackson was born. I got his birth announcements done through them and continued on to order calendars (http://www.shutterfly.com/calendars/wall-calendars) every year for Ma for Christmas, photo books for wedding gifts, and just regular prints! It's so easy to just upload your pictures from your computer and they either send them directly to you or you can pick them up at target. So easy! Here's some of the Christmas cards I like:
I love the black and white cards....so classic!

I also like these 2, very cute and simple, with pretty holiday color:

Now I just have to decide which one we like the best and start taking some pictures for them! :)

Fire Pit Fun!

For the past few weekends we've had such a nice time getting the fire pit out and roasting smores and buscuits on a stick. As most of you know, fall is my absolute favorite and I love going outside and sitting by the fire on a cool night! Especially when we are accompanied with some pretty cool friends too! :)

Our boyscout of the evening.

Do not try to steal Rach's marshmellows!

You may end up like this, just ask Ryan.
