10K

This past Saturday Morgan and I ran in the Fired up for a Cure race.  We work together and thought it'd be fun to do a race together.  She did her first 5k and I did my first 10 k.  We had such great weather and the race map was perfect.

I wanted my mile pace under 10 but it was: 10:38
Overall I was pleased with my run.  I ran the entire 6.2 miles.  It was such a nice surprise to see my gal Amy Wolford at the line as I was finishing.  She has been such an encourager to me getting back into running and it was so sweet of her to come see me finish my first 10k.  Can't wait til November to go to Richmond.  Thanks girl for all your amazing support and accountability!

Kip's Bday weekend

The weekend of Kiptyn's 2nd birthday we headed out of town for a soccer tournament.  It just so happened that the Redskins last day of training camp was on the Friday before, plus it was on the way to Josh's tournament.  So we decided to head there a day early to see us some football.

Our pathetic plea to try to meet RGIII.  Didn't work. Boo!
Worn out after training camp.
Such good boys at Daddy's soccer games.

Our big 2 year old!  We went to Joe's Crab Shack for Kips bday dinner and they had a playground outside.  Genius!

Popular bday boy answering all his Happy Birthday calls from grandparents.

Took the boys to an arcade to celebrate Kip's bday after Daddy's games.

That evening we took Jackson and Kiptyn to The Melting Pot for dessert.

Amanda joined us for dessert.  The boys just eat her up! :)

Loving the fondue!

Kip showing he was "2" (+ a few years on his clock apparently)!

SML

The boys have had such a ball at the lake this year.  They were constantly asking us throughout the summer to go back!  We got to go a few times but probably not nearly as much as they'd like.  They loved being there.

Jackson cruising with Poppop on the Seadoo.

Paddle boating.

Kip passed out on the boat.

A little WVU cornhole with aunt Dee.  This round J got all 4 bags on the board.  He was so proud!

There is a drive-in a few minutes away from where we stay.  We took the boys to see their first (and my first) drive in movie.  We saw Planes.  Such a fun evening.

Eating at the diner before the movie.

Disney Photographer Pics

Crystal purchased the photo pass for our Disney trip and what an awesome idea!  When we go back in years to come, we'll definitely be getting one.  We had a card that the photographers scanned when they took our pics and it automatically uploaded to our card.  So cool!

Josh, Ma, and me rocking on the Rockin' Roller Coaster!

Jackson was legitimately scared when Darth Vader came out!

Keira battling Darth Vader.

For J's bday Crystal bought him the Pirate League package. He decided to dress like Jake.  He was pretty excited to get his own sword as well.
Keira got all "dolled up" as a Mermaid.
