1st school bus ride!

Jackson was stoked last Friday. Josh had said if his girls won their game, that Jackson could ride the bus back to the school with them. They were just at Cave Spring, but still,... 15 minutes on a bus for a preschooler is pretty big! Luckily for Jackson (and the girls), they beat Cave Spring, so off Jackson goes on the school bus!

A bus trip could not be completely enjoyed if his buddy, Dawson wasn't along for the ride :)

Big boys! Is it sad I am already dreading him going to Kindergarden!

Watch out, Jackson is at the wheel!

Needless to say, Jackson is hoping for a few more wins on the rode so he can enjoy more bus rides with Daddy and "Daddy's soccer girls"!

Meaghan's Shower

Meaghan and Kenneth are married! :)

Meaghan has been one of my best friends since 7th grade, we go back 14 years! I even found these old pics on my computer...take a looksee....

That's me on the right just in case you couldn't tell, I use to be skinny.

Yes that's right, we were cool in high school. We could rock the leopard cowboy hats! Don't be jealous!

Well Meaghan and Kenneth were "high school sweethearts" (Meaghan I know you're rolling your eyes while reading that-haha) and I am so happy that I got to be a part of their wedding last month! Here's a picture of them back in high school:

I'm completely behind but here's some pictures from her shower! It was at Hidden Valley Country Club and it was so nice! View of the golf course, great lunch, and just a fun time to celebrate the upcoming wedding! :)

Bridesmaids

Meaghan with her mom and aunt Soozi
The yummy food!

Jane's amazing cupcakes. Vanilla and key lime cheesecake!

Presents, presents, presents!

Us with the bride!

Stay tuned for wedding pictures! It was beautiful! :)

Snow in April??

Looks like it snowed in Salem Friday night b/c we had all sorts of white in our yard!!

This is just our one tree in the front yard.

A special thanks to Josh's soccer ladies for our nice lawn decor! To their dismay, a little birdy told us what to be expecting so Josh, Rachel, Ryan and I were prepared! We were quietly waiting to corner them with water balloons and our hose in the driveway. We had very specific instructions, they didn't even see us coming! We had a good time, but I think the hose came back to bite us in the hiney b/c we have toilet paper stuck to our driveway and grass now. At least we'll know for next time.

Oh and just in case you are wondering, I'm sure after being in our home for 10 months our neighbors are just LOVING having a coach with the city of salem right beside them! I mean what neighbor doesn't want to be woken up at midnight to girls' loud shrieking and yelling!? Plus if their lucky, some of the tp may have blown in their yard for them too! bahaha!

One little fella did enjoy the tp!

Why in the world did I go to walmart with these 3 boys?! Needed a storage tote and an air filter and we are in the store for an hour and a 1/2! haha

Backyard Fun

We absolutely love our house! Not to mention we have an awesome playground right in our backyard with the school being there. Jackson loves going out and playing at "his park" and running in the field. A few weeks ago we ventured out and tried our first kite flying extravaganza. It was a windy Sunday and it was perfect weather to fly a kite. Jackson received a "Cars" kite from one of Josh's sweet soccer mom's and my friend. He loved it. The best part for him was having Daddy fly the kite while he chased it! I loved just watching them! Enjoy the picture overload!

Here's Jackson getting the kite up all by himself! :)

Our big boy!

This picture cracks me up,...could Jackson try any harder to get up the same time as his Daddy?

Saved one of my favorite pictures for last. After Jackson got done with playing with the kite we went and played at the park. We looked over and Josh was trying to get the kite up as high as it could go, no slack at all with the string! He finally did it and he was so excited! Whose present was that again? Josh or Jackson's? hehe -You can barely see him in the picture (slightly b/c it was getting dark) running with it to keep it up!

I love spring days with my boys!

Your name might be Jackson...continued...

Your name might be Jackson if you eat ALL the icing off the piece of cake and leave the rest on your plate. Not only the icing on the side and top but even in between the layers! Who taught you this kid?! Your name might also be Jackson if you ate SO much icing and ran around the sidewalk outside the restaurant that you get sick ALL over the side walk 3 times before getting into the car to go home! Oh how I love my Jackson!

Your name might be Jackson if...

We got home from a night out to eat last night and Josh brought Jackson into the bathroom to get his bath started. Josh turned on the water and told Jackson to go ahead and hop in. Jackson always undresses himself and gets into the tub on his own being so independent lately. Josh literally turned his back for maybe 10 seconds to grab the laundry basket that was 4 feet from the bathroom door and this is what we came back to...

I guess if you feel like bathing with your clothes on every now and then, your name might be Jackson!
