In honor of Josh's 3oth birthday I thought it would be fun to make a list of 30 things I love about him (of course the list could exceed that)!
I LOVE Josh because:
1. He is a wonderful Christian leader of our household. One of the things I love most about Josh is that he led me back to Christ about 6 years ago. My life hasn't been the same since. Thank you hunnie!
2. He is the most amazing Daddy! Jackson couldn't love him more. He is so devoted to being a father and making sure there is always time with him.
3. He allows me to be OCD. This includes me stressing about the little things. Birthday parties, paint colors for walls for the new house, Jackson's new bedding for the new house,..etc
4. He has a way of just calming me down. I am a big worry-wart and he just has his own little way of soothing me when I get worked up.
5. I love the relationship he has with his Mother.
6. He has SUCH a strong faith in God (This sort of goes back to #1 but I had to reinterate it). When he didn't get the job at the elementary school for PE/Health a few weeks ago, he was SO incredibly humble about it. Just said, "It wasn't meant to be, God always has a plan." What a wonderful way to witness even to me. He has such strong roots!
7. I love that his favorite thing to make for dinner when he cooks is Tacos. He just has to make sure the meat is perfectly done and chopped into small pieces. Thank you Emeril!
8. When we go to the store he always finds some way to sneak in a new ball for Jackson. Does the child really need more balls?!
9. He has been more than motivating for me to lose weight and stay on track,...FOR ME! Very encouraging, complementing me!
10. He's patient. VERY VERY patient.
11. He is the most wonderful coach. Sometimes I don't think he's appreciated enough. All the time, effort, and heart he puts into doing a "part time job"...not a part time job for this man. It's his passion. I LOVE THIS COACH! Knowing that it takes a lot of his time, he always makes Jackson and I a part of it.
12. He always makes sure he kisses me goodnight and says I love you.
13. He didn't get mad a me for throwing him a surprise 30th bday party! :)
14. He mumbles to himself.
15. I love that before he drinks a soda he'll wash the top of the can off to clean it, it's so cute!
16. He'll vacuum on his own without me asking him to.
17. He'll watch silly reality shows with me,...ex: Dancing with the stars, The Bachelorette,...etc.
18. He is my movie buddy. We love having movie dates!
19. I love that he's probably the only person in the world (besides The Dowdy's-haha) that don't have facebook.
20. He makes each and every day an adventure.
21. I love that he has not taken up golf. No offense ladies, but we can't afford for Josh to golf...expensive hobby/sport.
22. He picks out great presents (sounds vain I know, I don't just mean for me)
23. He's my best friend.
24. I love that we share a love for icecream (esp Scott and Ellie's) and good food in general.
25. I love that he dates cards that he gives me b/c he knows that I keep them.
26. He'll ask me what I need help with doing in the evenings when chaos hits the household.
27. I love that he dances (and sings) on the dance floor at weddings. We've had 3 in a row for the past 3 Saturdays and it's been TONS of fun. My man can get down!
28. He is so motivated lately to learn how to grill! You can do it hunnie!
29. I love the fact that he has already taught Jackson to punt a ball, hit a ball with a bat, catch a ball and even has him calling out "CORNERKICK", "NICE SHOT DADDY",Etc. This kid isn't even 2 yet people! :)
30. He holds my hand in the car.
This list could go on babe. Some are silly, but I am truly blessed to have this man in my life! Happy birthday hunnie! I love you bunches!
