Confessions of a soccer wife

February 2012 Edition

*Ramblings*

-First off I want to confess that I don't know how any parent with a child in diapers lives without a diaper genie. We used one with Jackson and I'm not sure if we fully appreciated it. That thing is seriously one of the best things invented for babies. I could probably do a whole blog post on how awesome I think that thing is!

-I also don't know why I never invested $ in buying a Keurig. We all know Momma loves her some coffee. Can't believe it took me til I got money for Christmas to buy one. Boy do I LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

-I must confess that I have yet again started weight watchers. This time online to try to lose my extra 20lbs from the baby. I'm already down 9lbs! Wahoo!

-I think it's time to admit that I am branching out on new technology. Within the past month I have tried out Netflix and amazon.com. I love both. I am even going to start using the ps3 for games. Josh bought me Just Dance 3. Watch out Beyonce'!

-I am loving that my sensitive little 3 yr old is finally starting to shed some layers. He usually won't tell anyone bye or give love goodbye til now. Not sure if Kiptyn has helped him bloom or not but he is becoming quite the little man. He is such a joy as a son and such great big brother.

-I started my new job on January 2nd and I must confess I love my new hours. I feel like I have so much time with my boys. I get off at 4pm and I am SO happy to have that extra hour in the evenings with them. It has been an incredibly hard transition, just praying things continue to go smoothly.

-I must confess that I have tried a Jamocha cream pie (they are just a seasonal thing) and they are delicious! Go by Arby's and grab one.

-Lastly I'll go ahead and confess I found a countdown app and put it on my phone for soccer trouts. Well,... and of course Josh's phone too. Excited for a new season and spring to be here. Still nervous on braving 2 kiddos at games but I'm a blessed mother with lots of help! 2 weeks til trouts!

Stay tuned for more confessions...
