12 months of Kip Kip

For a shower gift, we received a really cool frame that had a spot for each month of his first year.  I had such a good time going through all the pictures of the past year and seeing how quickly our little one has grown.  Here's his monthly timeline.

Bed time??  What bedtime??

My 3 boys are going to be in such a tailspin in a few weeks.  They start school in a few weeks and we are all bumming hard.  We get to stay up later and they get to sleep in (wish I did too).

We have enjoyed staying up eating snacks, giggling, watching little league world series, laundry basket races, reading books,..etc.

Reading books, even if they are upside down.

Don't worry, we were responsible parents...we put a pillow in the basket for padding.

4th of July

This summer has been so much fun, I'm still catching up from July!

Here's some pictures form the 4th of July.  We had a nice dinner and sparkler fun with wonderful company!  Thanks Randolphs for hosting us!  Always such a great time fellowshiping with friends, grilling out, and playing outside!

Soccer Camp

For the past 2 years Jackson has gone to Josh's rec camp at the high school each summer.  Even though we have Kiptyn now, this year was no different.  Several people generously watched Kiptyn in the mornings so Jackson could still be by his Daddy's side for the week, and of course get some training in.  I didn't get to go to the school and see them but one of Josh's players was kind enough to snap some pictures for this soccer wife.  Boy is Jackson a Daddy's boy!

For the record, the week before they went to Dick's and purchased a new Nike soccer ball and cleats.  Our four year old may have used his birthday money to by his ball,...he was so excited!  Precious!

Your name might be Jackson if you fall asleep on the bathroom floor...


Our sweet four year old exhausted himself last week at the beach.  He fell asleep on my lap last night on the couch (which he never does).  I carried him into the bathroom to potty before bed and came back to find this.  He would not move...we had to carry him to bed.  He didn't wake up til 9:45am today.  Needless to say our family needs a vacation to recoup from vacation! :)

Weirdly perfect

Celebrating 7 amazing years today!  So incredibly blessed that God has given me Josh in my life.

Josh, over the past years you have continued to amaze me.  You are an incredible husband, amazing father, and wonderful friend.  Can't wait to see what else God has in store for us together.  I love you hunnie!
