Rachel and Matthew

Such a cool story.  Rachel and I played soccer together.  She was a freshman and I was a senior at Salem 10 years ago.  We were friends then of course, but not super close.  We actually didn't become real close until she starting coaching at the high school with Josh.  She had finished school and was starting to teach and became one of Josh's assistance for a few years.  During that time we got very close.  I'm so incredibly thankful for our friendship and for the amazing Christian example she is for me.  I could not have been more happy to be by her side as her and Matthew got married a few weeks ago.  Bummed that she is living farther away but so incredibly excited for her and Matt and can't wait to see what God has in store for you guys!

Wrapping up the Season

No surprise that I am totally behind on my blogging.  I'm going to attempt to catch up this week.  I'm going to start with the end of spring.  

Here's some pics from Roanoke.com, fans, and some I took from our end of the season.  What a great year!  Josh's girls made it to the state semi finals but their huge achievement was beating Blacksburg in the region final!

So thankful that God has called Josh into coaching.  It takes such a special person to coach.  The time, dedication, emotion, commitment, and heart he puts into it can only come from strength and love for the Lord.  So happy to be a part of Josh's obedience to God in doing what he loves to do! 

Soccer camp

Last week Jackson joined Daddy at camp at the high school.  It was in the morning and Jackson loved tagging along.  Still a little too young to participate with the campers but he jumped in occasionally and had a blast at the field.
