Among the many fun things Daddy and Jackson have done this summer, going to camp with him was one of them. Jackson loved it! He got to bring his own soccer bag with his water bottle, cleats, and ball. Of course no soccer camp would be complete without bringing Monkey too. Hopefully by the time he starts a real team monkey can stay in his soccer bag. :)

Daddy daycare
This is just a tad to what my boys have been up to this summer!
They've enjoyed lots of soccer camps, $1 movies at the movie theater, bowling trips, lots of art projects, many many water days at home and at Grandmommy and Poppop's house, weekly trips to Kroger, and starting to want to wear boxers! What a fun summer for these guys!
I'm very much looking forward to my time off with all 3 of my boys soon!

Engagement pics
This past Saturday was Josh and I's 6 year wedding anniversary! Wow, has that flown by or what?! We always sit down and watch our vhs tapes of our proposal and wedding every August around our anniversary. It's always fun to watch our ceremony and then us celebrating with our friends and family. This year we also looked back at our engagement pictures. I wanted to share a few...Do we look young or what?! :)

When in doubt...
...have your girlfriend do it!
A few weeks ago our boys had soccer camp in the evening and instead of going to McDonalds or Burger King and eat one evening, Emily decided she was going to de-stress me and help me check things off my "To do before Kiptyn arrives" to do list. Several things were in my eyes, manly items to do. You know put up blinds, curtains, shelves,...etc. Well apparantly not too manly for Emily! She was on top of the chair with the drill in hand minutes after I shared my list!
Watch out Bob Villa, this lady knows what she's doing with some tools! Oh did I happen to mention after she is drilling and I'm opening the box of the blinds, we realize Josh got shades that were a good 4 inches too small for the windows?! Back to Lowes!
Our kids behaved real well throughout the week!
My favorite line of the evening was when the boys got back to the house from camp. Chris had picked up our (only) drill in the household and said "Hey do you think Jackson will mind if I borrow his drill?" This is our pathetic drill: Oh no, not the red one, ours' is the blue one.
*Side note* Buy some useful power tools for Christmas! Or I guess I can just make Emily an on going "to do" list. :)

SML
Every year we try to make it to the lake a few times during the summer/fall. We actually went a few weeks ago, actually scratch that it was July 4th weekend...boy I'm behind! Here's some pictures of Jackson enjoying his time there. We so proud of him. Not only did Poppop let him drive the seadoo but he also was jumping off the dock and seadoo in the water. This is a big step for him. PLUS he let us let go of him with his life jacket on and swam by himself. Now while going to Ma and Daddy's to swim in the pool he is a little fish with his life jacket on just cruising around. Such a big boy!
