This past Saturday Morgan and I ran in the Fired up for a Cure race. We work together and thought it'd be fun to do a race together. She did her first 5k and I did my first 10 k. We had such great weather and the race map was perfect.

Overall I was pleased with my run. I ran the entire 6.2 miles. It was such a nice surprise to see my gal Amy Wolford at the line as I was finishing. She has been such an encourager to me getting back into running and it was so sweet of her to come see me finish my first 10k. Can't wait til November to go to Richmond. Thanks girl for all your amazing support and accountability!

Aaawww, thank you! I'm always happy to share my love of running with special friends like you. I'm so proud of you. You are amazing! Can't wait for our fun November weekend! Wish I could be at the finish line for that one...guess you'll have to be there for me this time! Love ya!
